FounderFrom an early age, I knew my purpose was to help those walking through life’s hardest moments. My path has been unique — I spent nearly a decade as a pastor, served 28 years in law enforcement retiring as a sergeant, and now work as a Licensed Professional Counselor. The uniforms and titles have changed, but the calling has always been the same: to show up for people when they feel they’ve reached the end… and hopefully, before they get there.
My years in ministry and law enforcement have given me a front-row seat to the weight carried by those who serve others. I know the strength it takes to put on the uniform every day — and how easy it is to put yourself last. That’s why my goal is to create a safe space where you can set the armor down, speak openly, and be met with understanding and respect.

At Cadence, we’re all about caring for the people who care for everyone else. We specialize in supporting first responders and helping professionals because we know how much heart and sacrifice it takes to do what you do.My passion for walking alongside first responders started early. One of the most important people in my life was my grandfather — a Detroit police officer who showed me what it means to serve with integrity, courage, and compassion. His example inspired me to dedicate my work to those who give so much of themselves to their communities.
I know the toughness and resilience it takes to show up for the job every day — and I also know how easy it is to put yourself last. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to be “on,” where you can talk openly, and where your experiences are met with understanding and respect.
I also know this work doesn’t stay at work — it comes home with you and impacts the people you love. That’s why I’m here not just for first responders, but also for their families.
You’ve spent your life showing up for others. I’m here to help you show up for yourself — and for the people who mean the most to you.
